Aircraft Maintenance Technician Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Aircraft Maintenance Technician to join our team at Aerotek. As an Aircraft Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for completing C Checks on experimental testbed B727 aircraft.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Visual inspection of aircraft exterior
  • Functional checks on aircraft systems
  • Lubrication
  • Structural inspection
  • Fluid level check
  • Tire and brake check
  • Avionics system check
  • Flight control check
  • Engine check
  • Interior refurbishment

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years experience in an MRO or Part 121 facility
  • A&P license
  • Experience on wide body aircraft
  • Experience with maintenance manuals and software
  • Ability to be vetted for Raytheon BGV check and Ontario Airport badging

Work Environment:

This is a fully on-site position in Ontario, California. Work will be performed in a hangar at Ontario Airport. The first week will involve completing an indoctrination program and some training.

Shifts:

Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm, Monday - Friday 2pm - 10:30pm. Candidates will ideally be open to both shifts. Some weekends and Saturdays may be required.
