At GardaWorld, we understand the importance of compensation, which is why we offer competitive hourly rates in every market we serve.
Compensation: $16.00 / hour
Shift: Sat-Mon 6pm-6am
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering exceptional customer service is always your top priority.
- Responding promptly to alarms triggered by security systems, ensuring timely arrival at the designated location.
- Investigating alarm causes, assessing potential security threats, and taking appropriate actions.
- Conducting regular patrols of assigned areas to deter security breaches, vandalism, or unauthorized activities.
- Acting decisively during emergencies, coordinating responses with law enforcement and emergency services as necessary.
- Maintaining detailed logs of alarm responses, incidents, and activities during shifts.
- Communicating effectively with clients, fellow security personnel, and law enforcement to convey critical information.
- Preparing clear and detailed incident reports, documenting relevant information and actions taken.
- Operating and overseeing the maintenance of security equipment, including surveillance cameras and alarms.
- Providing professional and courteous interactions with clients, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Adhering strictly to company policies, procedures, and legal regulations to uphold high security standards.
- Identifying and addressing potential security vulnerabilities, collaborating with the security team for preventative measures.
- Maintaining readiness for immediate response, staying alert and vigilant throughout the shift.
- Representing the security organization with professionalism and integrity, committed to ensuring a safe environment.
- Valid Level 3 Security License with the TXDPS is required.
- Personal Level 3 equipment, including firearm and duty belt, is necessary.
- A minimum of 1 year of experience in Armed Security is preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required.
- Ability to successfully complete an extensive screening process.
- Valid driver's license without restriction B is necessary.
- Reliable transportation is required.
- Able to climb stairs, walk, and/or stand for extended periods.
- Demonstrated stable work history is essential.
- COVID-19 vaccination is required.
