  • Investigation: Investigate the cause of alarms, assessing potential security threats, and taking appropriate actions to address the situation.
  • Patrols: Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas to deter security breaches, vandalism, or unauthorized activities.
  • Emergency Response: Act decisively during emergency situations, coordinating responses with law enforcement and emergency services as required.
  • Log Keeping: Maintain detailed logs of alarm responses, incidents, and activities during shifts, ensuring accurate and comprehensive records.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with clients, fellow security personnel, and law enforcement to convey critical information and facilitate a coordinated response.
  • Incident Reporting: Prepare clear and detailed incident reports, documenting relevant information, actions taken, and outcomes of each alarm response.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Operate and oversee the maintenance of security equipment, including surveillance cameras, alarms, and communication devices.
  • Client Interaction: Provide professional and courteous interaction with clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and requests promptly.
  • Security Standards: Strictly adhere to company policies, procedures, and legal regulations to maintain a high standard of security operations.
  • Security Vulnerability: Identify and address potential security vulnerabilities, collaborating with the security team to implement preventative measures.
  • Readiness: Maintain a state of readiness for immediate response, staying alert and vigilant during the entire shift.
  • Professional Representation: Represent the security organization with professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and secure environment.
Requirements
  • Security License: Must have a valid Level 3 Security License with the TXDPS.
  • Personal Equipment: Must have your own personal Level 3 equipment, including firearm, duty belt, holster, etc.
  • Experience: Have at least 1 year experience in Armed Security.
  • Education: Have a high school education or equivalent (GED).
  • Screening: Able to pass an extensive screening process.
  • Driver's License: Must have a valid driver's license without restriction B.
  • Transportation: Have reliable transportation.
  • Physical Demands: Able to climb stairs, walk, and/or stand for long periods of time.
  • Work History: Must be able to demonstrate stable work history.
  • COVID-19 Vaccine: Have the COVID-19 Vaccine.
