Job Summary

The Therapist - Adult Trauma Recovery position is a critical role in providing comprehensive mental health services to adults. As a member of our team, you will work closely with patients and their families to develop and implement personalized treatment plans, promoting recovery and well-being.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and coordinate direct social services to patients and their families, ensuring a collaborative and patient-centered approach.
  • Facilitate group and individual therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based techniques and modalities to address adult trauma and mental health needs.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans that address the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care and effective communication.
  • Provide crisis intervention services and assess for safety on a daily basis, ensuring the well-being of patients and their families.
  • Document progress and treatment plans in a thorough and timely manner, adhering to regulatory requirements and System policies.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current on best practices and evidence-based treatments.
Requirements
  • Masters Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience in healthcare and psychiatric settings, with a focus on adult trauma and mental health services.
  • Working knowledge of therapeutic interventions and techniques for all age groups, as well as human growth and behavior dynamics.
  • American Red Cross Professional Rescue certification and formal training in managing aggressive patients.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
