Job Title: Texas Natural Gas Senior Trader

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing physical and financial natural gas price risk in the Texas and Western Gulf Coast region. This role requires a strong understanding of natural gas fundamentals, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage physical and financial natural gas flat price and basis risk for Texas and Western Gulf Coast region
  • Support origination and sales with pricing
  • Deploy fundamentals-based trading strategies
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or similar discipline
  • Minimum 3 years of natural gas trading experience
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
  • Extensive knowledge of Texas intra and interstate pipelines
  • Knowledge of Texas/Mexico cross border gas flow dynamics
  • Highly analytical thinker and understanding of probability and risks
  • Must enjoy problem solving and creating trading opportunities
  • Strong working knowledge of North American natural gas fundamentals
  • Clear and effective communicator
  • Willingness to engage in dialogue and debate with colleagues
  • Can work autonomously and be flexible
  • Proficiency in Excel, Structured Query Language (SQL) or Visual Basic for Applications (VBA)
