We are seeking a highly skilled Texas Natural Gas Senior Trader to join our team at ENGIE North America Inc. in Houston. As a key member of our trading team, you will be responsible for managing physical and financial natural gas price risk in the Texas and Western Gulf Coast region.
Key Responsibilities- Manage physical and financial natural gas flat price and basis risk for Texas and Western Gulf Coast region
- Support origination and sales with pricing
- Deploy fundamentals-based trading strategies
- A Bachelor's Degree in finance, economics, mathematics, or a similar discipline
- A minimum of 3 years of natural gas trading experience
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
- Extensive knowledge of Texas intra and interstate pipelines
- Knowledge of Texas/Mexico cross-border gas flow dynamics
- Highly analytical thinker with a strong understanding of probability and risks
- Ability to work autonomously and be flexible
- Proficiency in Excel, SQL, or VBA
- A competitive salary range of $146,300 - $224,135 USD annually
