Position Overview: We are seeking a highly qualified Senior Civil Estimator to contribute to our projects at Synerfac.

The successful candidate will possess extensive experience in estimating for roadway construction initiatives, with a particular focus on highway interchanges, drainage systems, roads, and bridges.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leverage over 7 years of experience in road construction estimation, particularly with Florida DOT projects.
  • Provide accurate estimates ranging from $5,000 to $50 million based on initial and schematic designs.
  • Develop comprehensive final contract estimates while assessing site risks and construction obstacles.
  • Recognize potential construction challenges and propose cost-effective solutions during the estimation process.
  • Familiarity with HCSS Heavy Bid Software and AGTEK 4D is advantageous.
  • Complete any additional tasks as assigned.

Job Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline is required.

  • At least 3 years of experience in a supervisory estimating capacity.
  • Proficiency in takeoff, estimating, and construction accounting software is essential.
  • Must hold a valid Florida driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Experience with HCSS is preferred.
