Job Summary:

Ardurra Group, LLC is seeking a skilled Transportation Design Engineer to join our team in the Tallahassee, FL office. As a key member of our design team, you will work on a variety of transportation-related projects, developing contract plans, specifications, and estimates for construction.

Key Responsibilities:

Research, collect, and review data for transportation-related projects
Complete technical assignments that include planning, modeling, calculations, design, detailed cost estimates, specifications, and permitting
Utilize specialized computer software to assist with the analysis, design, and plans production for new transportation systems or parts of systems, such as highways, streets, bridges, drainage structures, and roadway lighting
Aid in the preparation of detailed reports and documentation of the design approach
Assist with plan alterations and modifications of existing streets, highways, or freeways to improve traffic flow

Requirements:

Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET accredited university or college
5-8 years of progressive engineering experience in transportation design
Proficient in Microstation and OpenRoads Designer with the ability to train and supervise the technical work of engineers, designers, and technicians
Proficient in MS Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project)
Experience preparing final design plans, specifications, and estimates
Strong verbal communication and technical writing skills
Strong analytical problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills
