Job Title: Quality Assurance Inspector

At Microbest, Inc., we are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Inspector to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring that all products meet our rigorous standards for quality and precision.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough inspections of incoming materials, in-process components, and finished products to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Use precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, attribute gauges, and layout tools to measure and inspect products.
  • Perform visual inspections to identify defects, deviations, or non-conformities and document findings.
  • Conduct functional tests to ensure components meet performance specifications.
  • Record and document inspection results, including measurements, observations, and test outcomes.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in quality control or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality inspection, preferably in a high volume CNC Machining manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in using precision measuring instruments and tools.
  • Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Excellent attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with Microsoft Office.
Work Environment:
  • Work is performed in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise and machinery.
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
