Key Responsibilities- Process Oversight: Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity in the fabrication department.
- Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of fabrication operators to achieve production goals and maintain a safe working environment.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet quality standards and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, track production schedules, and coordinate with production planners to optimize workflow.
- Training and Development: Provide technical training to operators and ensure that they have the necessary skills to perform their jobs effectively.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements and participate in the implementation of new technologies and procedures.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment, with at least 2 years of supervisory experience.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in SAP and other manufacturing software.
The Fabrication Supervisor will work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, and other hazards. The ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods is required.
