Responsibilities- Support and contribute to all aspects of an accounting department, including financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Utilize logistics software and tools to track and analyze key performance indicators, such as revenue, expenses, and operational efficiencies.
- Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance, costs, and operational efficiencies to senior management and stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics processes and reduce costs, identifying trends and opportunities for growth and improvement.
- Prepare and publish timely, monthly and quarterly financial statements & tax filings, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial reporting standards.
- Prepare A/R, A/P and weekly cash flow reports, ensuring quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
- Support the CFO in relationships with Financial institutions, CPA's and auditors, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Prepare and analyze annual budgets, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Support the Human Resources function of Company, instilling and supporting a culture that emphasizes teamwork, accountability and transparency within the finance department and across company.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience, with substantial experience managing $15MM+ in annual revenue.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (US GAAP) and internal control frameworks.
- Strong information systems/ERP system experience and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data, analyze trends and make strong profitable recommendations based on analysis.
