Intensive Care Unit ICU Staff Nurse RN Night Shift

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team as a Float ICU Staff Nurse RN. This is a regular full-time position with a night shift schedule.
Job Summary:The Montefiore RN maintains standards of the practice for nursing as defined by the American Nurses Association Code of Ethics, Nursing Scope and Standards of Practice and Nursing's Social Policy Statement. The Registered Nurse actualizes the vision, mission, values, balanced scorecard performance measures for Montefiore Medical Center.
Responsibilities:- Participate in performance improvement/research activities
- Demonstrate core and unit specific competencies based on the patient population served
- Meet the requirements for New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse and current registration or valid permit to practice in New York State as an R
- Have two years of ICU RN experience
- Hold Basic Life Support Training and Infection Control Training
- Have effective English communication skills, both written and oral
- Be able to use basic data entry and retrieval systems
- New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse
