Intensive Care Unit ICU Staff Nurse RN Night Shift

Montefiore Medical Center is seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Intensive Care Unit (ICU) team as a Float ICU Staff Nurse RN. This is a regular full-time position with a night shift schedule.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced ICU environment, working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure excellent patient outcomes. As a Float ICU Staff Nurse RN, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and develop your critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities:- Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient information.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- Current New York State License for Registered Professional Nurse.
- Two years of ICU RN experience.
- Basic Life Support Training.
- Infection Control Training.
- Effective English communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to use basic data entry and retrieval systems.
