At AMR Corp., we're seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team. As a Paramedic Basic, you'll play a critical role in delivering high-quality patient care and responding to emergency situations.
Responsibilities:- Assess each call situation to determine the best course of action, utilizing progressive Paramedic protocols.
- Utilize medical equipment and procedures, including defibrillators, EKG monitors, oxygen and suction devices, and intravenous fluids, to provide advanced medical care.
- Communicate effectively with patients and loved ones to provide information and assurance that care is being given.
- Act as a team leader and take responsibility for scene and unit management as needed.
- Drive the ambulance on 911 responses.
- Work collaboratively with allied health and public safety personnel, as well as fellow Paramedics.
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
- State Paramedic License
- State Driver's License
- BLS, ACLS, NREMT-Paramedic certifications
- Driving record in compliance with company policy
- Pass Physical Agility Test
