Job Overview

An experienced technologist will work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care and efficient procedure execution in interventional radiology and vascular/cardiac surgery procedures.

Key Responsibilities

">
  • Conduct pre- and post-procedure patient assessment and education to ensure effective communication and understanding of procedures.
  • Maintain equipment, supplies, and sterile fields to ensure optimal working conditions.
  • Operate fluoroscopy equipment, lasers, and other machinery associated with vascular and cardiac procedures while practicing radiation safety protocols.
  • Document procedures, billing, and radiation exposure records accurately and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective patient positioning and transfers.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in vascular technology is preferred.

Educational Requirements & Certifications

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent is required; an Associate degree is preferred.
  • A certificate from an accredited Radiology Program or Vascular Program is necessary.
  • A NJ DEP license is required upon hire.

Work Schedule & Location

">
  • The position operates on a 7am-3:30pm schedule.
  • The position is located in the Operating Room.

Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $110,000 per year.
