Employment Opportunity

We are seeking an Imaging Specialist to join our team in the Operating Room. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of vascular experience and possess a Graduate of AMA approved Radiology Technologist Program, NJ DEP license required upon hire.

Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians in all procedures within scope of Interventional Radiology and Vascular/Cardiac surgery to include, but not limited to, vascular, cardiac/cardiology, trauma surgeries.
  • Pre and post procedure patient assessment, patient teaching, assisting with patient care within scope of practice, inventory management (inventory, receive, organize, restock of products).
  • Operate fluoroscope equipment, laser, and other equipment associated with interventional vascular and cardiac procedures. Practices radiation safety in accordance of regulations.
  • Prepare radiopaque materials for administration by physician. Draw up contrast for injections.
  • Completes records accurately, includes procedure documentation, billing, supplies, radiation exposure.
Requirements
  • H.S. Diploma required; associate degree preferred.
  • Certificate of Completion/Degree from accredited Radiology Program or Vascular Program.
  • Graduate of AMA approved Radiology Technologist Program, NJ DEP license required upon hire.
