In this pivotal position, you will report directly to the head of Payments Operations, serving as the primary liaison for Sky Mavis' network partners. Your focus will be on spearheading launches in new markets while nurturing our ongoing partnerships. You will collaborate closely with Operations, Technology, and Product Management to establish robust partner governance frameworks, enhance performance, and monitor the vitality of these relationships.

As a Strategic Partner Relations Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Expanding the business through effective relationship management and transparent partner communications, ensuring mutual awareness of business developments.
  • Identifying and creating co-marketing initiatives, overseeing their execution, and assessing their impact.
  • Collaborating with partners to enhance transfer success rates by analyzing data to pinpoint initiatives that mitigate issues or declines.
  • Ensuring partner accountability through contract renewals, service level agreements (SLAs), due diligence, and regular business evaluations.
  • Enhancing system reliability and incident management through established escalation protocols.
  • Maintaining communication by managing correspondence and tracking follow-ups diligently.
  • Working with colleagues to facilitate seamless market entries and reduce customer acquisition costs through joint marketing efforts.
  • Reviewing and approving partner invoices for accuracy.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • 3-5 years of experience in partner management, vendor relations, or customer success roles.
  • A proven track record of building and sustaining relationships with partners to drive performance enhancements and broaden capabilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and ensure accountability regarding objectives, success metrics, and timelines.
  • Strong project management capabilities, adept at coordinating execution and governance across various partners and priorities.
  • A proactive approach with a demonstrated ability to refine processes.
  • Solid analytical skills, along with proficiency in spreadsheet and presentation software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint), and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Microsoft Power BI) is advantageous.
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant analytical or business discipline; an MBA is a plus.
  • Experience in the fintech, payments, or money transfer sectors is encouraged.
