Job Summary

Responsibilities
  • Provide respiratory care to critically ill patients in the PICU and NICU, including mechanical ventilation, oxygen therapy, and medication administration.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of patients' respiratory status and develop plans to improve lung function and overall health.
  • Operate and maintain complex respiratory equipment, including ventilators and oxygen concentrators.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) by the National Board for Respiratory Care.
  • Experience working in a PICU and NICU setting, with a focus on critical care and respiratory therapy.
  • Proficiency in Epic electronic medical record system.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
