Aerospace Lead Quality Inspector

At AtWork Group, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Aerospace Lead Quality Inspector to join our team. In this critical role, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards are met in the production of aerospace components.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform dimensional and visual inspections of aerospace machined components
  • Experience in performing FAI s AS9102, verifying supplier FAI
  • Conduct final inspections, including dimensional, visual inspection, surface finish, and assembly inspection
  • Work with outside vendors to ensure customer satisfaction
  • Review and approve supplier documentation
  • Plan and conduct internal/external audits
  • Coordinate and facilitate FAA conformity inspections
  • Interface with FAA/DER/DAR to ensure regulatory requirements are met
  • Communicate expectations to vendors and support vendor compliance
  • Conduct performance reviews and recommend salary adjustments
  • Ensure growth and development of organizational units
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree and seven years of related experience, with at least four years in a product-driven environment
  • Aircraft industry experience required
  • Proven experience in an AS9100-certified manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of CMM Inspection process
  • Familiarity with Federal Aviation Regulations, orders, Airworthiness Directives, and Service Bulletins
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience with MS Outlook and MS Office
