Senior Analyst

We seek IT Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for our operational team. The team gathers mission requirements, identifies challenges, and provides analytical and sustainable solutions to meet operational needs.

The mission involves providing coordination for various systems and configurations. The Senior Analyst must be adept at translating requirements into actionable instructions for technical teams, ensuring milestones are met, and maintaining comprehensive project documentation. Clear and effective communication across a matrixed organization is essential. The individual will also undertake strategic tasks based on daily operational insights aimed at enhancing processes to achieve desired outcomes. Close collaboration with unit staff, action officers, and project managers is crucial for task completion.

Job Overview

Key Responsibilities:

The Senior Analyst will serve as a liaison, responsible for fostering and maintaining beneficial relationships, facilitating communication, and coordinating activities among various stakeholders. The analyst represents the operational team, streamlining support and managing communications, coordination efforts, incident responses, and conflict resolution. The Senior Analyst will derive operational requirements through stakeholder engagement. Responsibilities include:

  1. Collecting operational requirements through stakeholder interactions.
  2. Participating in multiple operational planning teams and working groups.
  3. Coordinating project meetings with stakeholders as necessary.
  4. Tracking project milestones, including engineering, approvals, and installations.
  5. Acting as an action officer for derived requirements.
  6. Analyzing project delays and identifying root causes.
  7. Facilitating collaboration among various groups and organizations.
  8. Identifying communication issues among teams.
  9. Conducting after-action reviews following incidents.
  10. Prioritizing tasks based on risk, importance, urgency, and potential impact.
  11. Understanding relevant policies and procedures.
  12. Drafting and editing reports, briefs, and other documentation.
  13. Utilizing IT systems to research, track, and manage issues.
  14. Willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications:

Education and Certifications:

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an IT-related field, combined with relevant experience.

·Baseline certification: DoD 8570 IAT II certification, Security+

Experience:

·Over 10 years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructures.

·Proficient in MS Office Suite, including Excel, Word, Visio, and PowerPoint.

·Experience in report development and stakeholder updates.

·Strong attention to detail and commitment to deadlines.

·Ability to perform effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Skills:

  • Experience in managing tickets in designated systems.

WORK HOURS:

Shift Work:

6:00 AM – 2:00 PM, 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM, 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM, Monday – Friday.

SECURITY:

Must possess at minimum a TS/SCI Clearance. Preferred candidates will have a TS/SCI with a CI Poly security clearance. Candidates must be U.S. citizens and capable of obtaining and maintaining a final TS/SCI security clearance.
