Job Summary

As a key member of the Mountaineer Casino Resort team, the Cage Supervisor plays a vital role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of accounting activities at all cage locations. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Prepare cashier transfers from window to vault, ensuring accurate and timely processing.
  2. Supervise cash W2G level jackpot tickets, withholding appropriate taxes when necessary.
  3. Ensure accurate paperwork is completed for all functions of the position, including end of shift balancing of cashier windows and vaults.
  4. Notify a Cage Shift Manager of any incidents at their area and complete an incident report.
  5. Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Reporting Line
You will report directly to the Shift Manager Cage, then to the Manager of Cage and Credit Ops.

Qualification Requirements
  • Must have excellent communication skills, be polite, and present a neat appearance at all times.
  • The ability to work with others as a team in an efficient manner.
  • Availability to work all shifts.
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Ability to obtain a Level 2 Table Games License and a VLT Validation Manager License through the WV Lottery.
  • Pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain a WV Racing License.

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Six months of cash handling experience preferred. General knowledge of Federal Currency Transaction Reporting (CTR) regulations and requirements.
