We're seeking a Revenue Cycle Optimization Specialist to join our team. This role plays a crucial part in driving enhancements to critical revenue cycle metrics and optimizing all facets of the billing process.

Salary: $81,667 - $114,691 per annum

About the Job

The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and supporting payer contracts by maintaining and updating payer contracts lists; implementing contract requirements and troubleshooting revenue issues with provider representatives. They will also report on utilization and compare it to practice management (PM) system results, implement grant and value-based contracts, and ensure compliance and tracking via the PM system.

  • Mentor, manage, and train revenue cycle staff, including providing timely feedback and annual reviews.
  • Collaborate with multiple departments and managers to ensure proper workflows, training, and follow-up for patient intake and revenue capture.
  • Provide support and guidance on coding and documentation issues; offer feedback to providers on corrections; implement new services; manage coding audits and improvement projects; and train and coordinate with back office and billing staff to correct coding errors.
About You

We're looking for an experienced professional with a strong analytical background and excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate should have mastery of medical office operations, professional fee billing, reimbursement, and third-party payer regulation and medical terminology. Experience with Epic electronic health record software is preferred.
