Job Summary:

This position supports the departmental mission of providing timely, compiled information to clinicians, patients, and others in support of health care and legal requirements.

The Medical Records Correspondence Clerk must use a team-oriented approach, utilizing medical terminology, interpersonal skills, phone skills, keyboarding, filing, and fax machine abilities to multitask and stay organized.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the departmental mission by providing timely, compiled information to clinicians, patients, and others.
  • Utilize medical terminology, interpersonal skills, phone skills, keyboarding, filing, and fax machine abilities to multitask and stay organized.
  • Work in an electronic health record environment.
  • Collaborate with a team-oriented approach.

Requirements:

  • AA degree.
  • 1 year of related experience.
  • Ability to work in an electronic health record environment.
  • Ability to multitask and stay organized.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of experience in the healthcare industry.
