Medical Records Correspondence Specialist

Job Summary:
This position supports the departmental mission of providing timely, compiled information to clinicians, patients, and others in support of health care and legal requirements.
The Medical Records Correspondence Clerk must use a team-oriented approach to ensure the accuracy and efficiency of medical records management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Utilize medical terminology to accurately document and retrieve patient information
- Develop and maintain effective communication skills to interact with patients, clinicians, and other stakeholders
- Operate electronic health records systems to manage and maintain patient data
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements:
- AA degree or equivalent experience
- 1 year of related experience in healthcare
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- 3 or more years of experience in healthcare
- Knowledge of medical terminology and electronic health records systems
