Job Title: Senior EHS Specialist

Strivector is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior EHS Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and environmental compliance of our operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a regulatory compliance resource for OSHA and EPA regulations.
  • Lead or participate in incident investigations and root cause analysis to determine corrective/preventative actions.
  • Perform risk and hazard assessments/inspections to identify employee risk/exposure and suggest mitigation actions.
  • Establish and drive continuous improvement in safety monitoring and recordkeeping systems to ensure compliance with all policies and federal regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure proper management and discharge of industrial process wastewaters to protect ground waters and surface tributaries from contamination.
  • Ensure proper onsite management and offsite disposal of solid, universal, and hazardous wastes.
  • Collaborate with Corporate Environmental to evaluate and determine permitting and abatement strategies for projects impacting air quality permits.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety and environmental policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Communicate safety, health, and environmental metrics and reports in a timely manner.
Requirements:
  • Seven or more years of experience in a safety and/or environmental role in an industrial setting.
  • Demonstrated root-cause analysis skills (RCCA, 5-Whys).
  • Leadership skills to direct personnel, implement initiatives, and supervise teams.
  • Analytical ability to assess complex situations and apply problem-solving strategies.
  • Ability to work independently and be on call as needed.
