Senior Quality Assurance Specialist

Hillsboro Technical Operations (HTO) is a leading manufacturer of life-saving medicines, responsible for delivering Roche's commercial portfolio and pipeline products to patients worldwide.
The Opportunity:
In this exciting role, you will lead the frontline manufacturing quality team, providing direct oversight and ensuring the reliable delivery of high-quality products. As a technical expert, you will partner with manufacturing and other stakeholders to supply patients, applying your knowledge of aseptic drug product manufacturing processes, health authority expectations, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply in-depth knowledge of manufacturing and quality functional areas to drive process improvements and ensure compliance.
- Develop new approaches to complex problems, influencing others to change their point of view and leading others to solve the problem through coaching conversations.
- Work independently, exercising judgment based on analysis of multiple sources of information and interactions with peers and cross-functional squads.
- Support internal cGMP audits and Health Authority inspections, ensuring the highest standards of quality and compliance.
- Serve as a senior quality resource, navigating complex issues and providing expert guidance on quality-related matters.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Life Sciences or Engineering, with 8-11 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry for a Senior QA Specialist level and 4-7 years of experience for a QA Specialist III level.
- In-depth industry experience in aseptic GMP Drug Product filling and/or Device expertise, making you a recognized expert in your job discipline.
- Tactful and effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with complex and sensitive information.
- Flexibility in regards to shift coverage and ability to gown into production space.
The expected salary range for this position is $75,000 - $139,000 for a level III and $130,100 - $169,100 for a senior level. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, level, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
