Key Responsibilities

  • Interview insureds, claimants, and witnesses to gather information, employing effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Consult police and hospital records to verify claim facts, maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Evaluate claim facts and policy coverage to determine settlement amounts, applying knowledge of insurance policies and industry standards.
  • Inspect property and auto damages and write repair estimates, utilizing technical skills and industry knowledge.
  • Prepare reports of findings and secure settlements with insureds and claimants, ensuring timely and fair resolution of claims.
  • Utilize claims-handling software, company car, and mobile applications to adjust loss in a paperless environment, staying up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
RequirementsEntry Level Claims Representative
  • Desire to learn about the insurance industry and provide a great customer experience, with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work unsupervised with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant experience, with a strong foundation in business, insurance, or a related field.
Experienced Claims Representative
  • Multi-line claims experience preferred, with a strong understanding of insurance policies and industry standards.
  • Ability to assess auto, property, and bodily injury damages, with a high level of technical skill and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • One or more years of claims handling experience, with a strong track record of success and a commitment to excellence.
