Ambulatory Care Scheduler Opportunity

We are seeking an Ambulatory Care Scheduler to join our team at Coastal Vascular & Interventional. In this role, you will be responsible for scheduling all outpatient surgeries and procedures, obtaining and adding patient demographics and insurance information into the billing system, and coordinating efforts with the Director of Nursing to ensure availability of needed equipment and staff.

About the Role:

  • Scheduling all outpatient surgeries and procedures as requested by the physician or office staff.
  • Obtaining and adding patient demographics and insurance information into the billing system.
  • Coordinating efforts with the Director of Nursing to ensure availability of needed equipment and staff.
  • Maintaining positive communications with medical staff members and their office personnel.
  • Cross-training to cover front desk duties, including chart preparation, collections, and patient account advocacy.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum one year scheduling experience in an ambulatory surgery facility, acute-care hospital, or doctor's office.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work effectively in a team environment.
