Job Summary

The Network Administrator will collaborate with Customer Service teams and System Administrators to support customer networks for ScriptPro's pharmacy automation and pharmacy system products. This role involves configuring and remotely supporting network devices to company standards, including firewalls, routers, access points, and switches. The position also entails working with onsite technicians and customers to troubleshoot network connectivity and performance issues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with network support for new and existing customers
  • Implement and support various VPN connections for remote access to customer systems
  • Support multiple network configurations on customer systems
  • Remotely support approved network hardware for connectivity at customer premises
  • Remotely support wireless networks for customer systems
  • Remotely support remote access connectivity to/from customer systems
  • Provide technical documentation to other customer service and training groups
  • Work with customers and customer IT to resolve network problems via ticketing and phone system
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a business technology or computer science discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Familiarity with fiber, iSCSI, L3 switch administration, L4 router administration, and firewall administration
  • VM administration of vSphere or AHV
  • Comprehensive understanding of TCP/IP and networking concepts, including VLANs, protocols, topologies, and cabling
  • Advanced knowledge of industry best practices for installing, deploying, documenting, and troubleshooting network technologies
  • Solid understanding of CISCO iOS, CISCO Nexus, and similar platforms

Working Conditions

This position operates in an office environment, requiring routine use of standard office equipment and ability to use a computer for extended periods. Regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, and occasionally lift, stoop, bend, and reach.
