Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Certified Endoscopy Tech to join our team at Rose Surgical Center. As a key member of our endoscopy department, you will be responsible for coordinating daily workflow, ensuring quality diagnostic results, and providing exceptional patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform endoscopy procedures and diagnostic tests with precision and accuracy
  • Develop and implement performance improvement activities to enhance patient care and department efficiency
  • Manage inventory, supplies, and charge entry data to ensure seamless operations
  • Ensure a sanitary environment for patient care by maintaining cleanliness and sterilization/disinfection of instruments and equipment
  • Prepare the endoscopy unit for procedures and ensure availability of necessary GI equipment and supplies
  • Verify proper functioning of equipment prior to procedures and report any malfunctions to the nurse manager
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program preferred
  • 3 years of experience in an ambulatory surgery center environment, preferably in endoscopy
  • Endoscopy Reprocessing Certification required
  • Valid BCLS Certification upon employment, from the American Heart Association
