Position Overview

We are seeking a motivated entry-level Sustainability Analyst to join our Environmental Division's Phase I ESA Environmental Due Diligence Program. This program is recognized as one of the largest and most reputable in the region and is rapidly expanding its reach across various locations in the Eastern United States.

Our due diligence practice caters to a diverse clientele, including municipalities, developers, legal professionals, and financial institutions, all of whom require tailored and innovative solutions. Beyond environmental due diligence, our program also offers construction risk assessment services, which encompass Property Condition Assessments, Plan and Cost Reviews, and Construction Draw Inspections. The anticipated growth and geographic expansion of our Due Diligence Program present a unique opportunity for professional development for the right candidate, while collaborating with some of the most experienced professionals in the environmental consulting sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare Phase I Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs), Transaction Screen ESAs, and Records Search with Risk Assessment (RSRA) reports with guidance from senior staff and Project Managers.
  • Assist in conducting Property Condition Assessments, Plan and Cost Reviews, and Construction Draw Inspections under the mentorship of senior Construction Risk staff.
  • Conduct site evaluations across various locations.
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret historical, regulatory, and municipal records.
  • Communicate findings to team leaders and assess environmental risks.
  • Independently manage due diligence projects and adhere to project timelines.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Familiarity with Quire software is advantageous.
  • Experience with environmental due diligence projects such as Phase I ESAs, Transaction Screen ESAs, or Phase II ESAs is a plus.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic team-oriented environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with effective time management abilities, are essential.

Compensation: $21.16 per hour

The specific salary offered may vary based on factors such as relevant experience, education, and work location.
