Contract Management Specialist

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Legal Manager to join our team at Crystal Stairs, Inc. This role involves coordinating, implementing, and monitoring the Agency's contract life cycle, ensuring compliance with Agency's policies and funder requirements.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in contract drafting, negotiation, and management, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
This is a 100% onsite position located in Los Angeles, California, with an estimated annual salary range of $115,000 - $140,000, based on location and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate various contractual-related documents, including funding contracts, grants, vendor contracts, subcontracts, leases, releases, MOUs, programmatic agreements, work orders, amendments, and termination notices.
- Establish and maintain a contract management system to regulate the contract process workflow.
- Provide training to staff on Agency's contract-related policies and procedures.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on contractual matters.
- Maintain records for correspondence and documentation in relation to pending and executed contracts.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on the procurement process.
- Assist with insurance-related tasks, including applications and requests for COIs.
- Support corporate filings, subpoenas, and record retention monitoring.
- Work on special projects as assigned.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in contract drafting, with 2+ years in a corporate contracts or legal department.
- 1 year of supervisorial experience required.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university; a graduate degree in law, business administration, public administration, or a related field is preferred.
- California bar admission is a plus.
- Knowledge of contract law principles is essential.
- Experience with contract management systems or software is beneficial.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail are necessary.
- Ability to prioritize workflow, manage projects, and maintain confidentiality.
