Contract Management Executive

The Contract Management Executive will lead our contract management program, ensuring the successful execution of our contracts and vendor relationships. This role requires exceptional leadership and analytical skills.
Estimated Salary: $130,000 - $200,000 per year
Job Description
As a Contract Management Executive, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive contract management program, ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and standard practices. You will represent the organization as the primary contact on assigned corporate and vendor contracts, maintaining strong relationships with key vendors.
Responsibilities
- Develop a comprehensive contract management program, including design, implementation, and maintenance of new technological solutions and desk procedures.
- Take an active role in educating, training, and mentoring personnel on legal-related matters, including contract review, drafting, negotiation, and administration.
- Participate in the development of corporate policies, procedures, and programs for the firm and its UK subsidiary, ensuring compliance with established policies, procedures, and standard practices.
- Review, interpret, recommend, draft, and negotiate contractual terms and conditions under supervision and within guidelines, including non-disclosure, license, and memorandum of understanding agreements.
- Identify contract issues and respond to various inquiries while providing leadership in developing innovative solutions, advising management of contractual rights and obligations, and interpreting terms and conditions.
- Support one or more business units in the management of contracts, including coordination of meetings and management of onboarding processes, creating reporting for management and departments to align with business needs related to vendor oversight.
- Institute and manage contract-related budgeting processes and seek viable, cost-effective alternatives for vendor services, becoming an expert over time on certain areas as it relates to systems, data, and topical vendor issues.
- Maintain, analyze, update, and develop various electronic and database records.
- Perform other duties as assigned or required.
Requirements
- A bachelor's degree in finance, business, or a related field.
- A minimum of 7-10 years of professional work experience in financial services or a related field.
- Experience in negotiating contracts, including vendor contracts.
- Must have experience with handling/processing large volumes of data with excellent attention to detail, organizational, written, and oral communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, project management, and collaborative skills.
- Proficiency in MS Suite, SharePoint, data management, and reporting software.
- Communicate effectively and tactfully with individuals of all levels.
- Leadership capabilities.
- Self-motivated and proactive.
Desired Skills
- Strong knowledge/understanding of language and provisions in legal contracts.
- Familiarity or experience with ContractWorks, DocuSign, or similar applications, a plus.
- Familiarity or experience with Process-Unity, a plus.
- Familiarity with Canadian, UK, EU, and/or Australian investment regulations.
- Basic understanding of ESG rules and regulations in the EU and/or UK.
