Compassionate Communication Specialist for Schools

About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Speech-Language Pathologist to join our school district. As a Communication Specialist, you will work with students to assess, diagnose, and treat various communication disorders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate students' communication abilities.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with communication disorders.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual or group settings.
Requirements:
- A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Current state licensure or eligibility for licensure in North Carolina.
- A Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Experience working with school-aged children is preferred.
