Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is seeking a skilled Assembler - 2nd Shift (Regulators) to join our team in Waukesha, WI. This role involves the production of various types of voltage regulators in a continuous flow environment, meeting customer service requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Perform various job functions, including assembly, testing, and quality control, at an acceptable level of efficiency and quality.
- Follow standard work and 5S principles, perform visual inspections, and construct and test tap changers using standard work.
- Build products according to work instructions and quality standards, using calibrated tooling.
- Work closely with engineering, quality, and shipping departments to ensure timely completion and shipping of products.
- Conduct ratio testing, troubleshoot issues, and repair units and components as needed.
- Participate in teardown, repair, and modification of customer-supplied equipment as directed by engineering or quality departments.
- Cross-train in various stations within the Regulators department.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- No relocation is offered for this role; all candidates considered must live within 50 miles of the Waukesha, WI facility.
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution is preferred.
- Ability to work overtime when required and lift up to 50 LBS.
