Job Title: Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator

Medical City Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator to join our team at Medical City Denton. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our Medical Surgical Unit.

Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse Clinical Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and directing the delivery of patient care services in the Medical Surgical Unit. This includes assessing patient needs, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Assist with admission and discharge processes to ensure efficient throughput and high-quality patient care.
  • Participate in ongoing assessment of the quality of patient care services provided in the unit.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts and other managers to create an environment of teamwork that supports improved outcomes and service.
  • Support a patient-first philosophy and engage in service recovery when necessary.
  • Support the efforts of the facility to improve engagement by operationalizing current nursing strategies.
Requirements:
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
  • Registered Nurse license in Texas or a compact license.
  • Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's degree preferred).
  • Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience.
