We are currently seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) for our Medical Surgical Unit. This position is vital in ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care and coordinating all functions within the unit during designated shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and deliver exceptional nursing care in accordance with established policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with management and staff to evaluate and enhance patient care services.
- Facilitate effective communication and teamwork among healthcare professionals to improve patient outcomes.
- Assist with patient admissions and discharges to ensure efficient processes.
- Support staff development through training, performance evaluations, and conflict resolution.
- Manage staff scheduling and ensure compliance with productivity guidelines.
- Maintain proper inventory control and assist in managing supplies and equipment.
Qualifications:
- Registered Nurse license in Texas or a compact license.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment.
- Associate Degree in Nursing (Bachelor's degree preferred).
- A minimum of 2 years of nursing experience is required.
