Position Overview
This role is essential for ensuring the effective lubrication of all machinery within the facility. The selected candidate will support the Maintenance Superintendent in overseeing lubrication practices across the plant.

Key Responsibilities
- Execute assigned work orders related to preventative, predictive, and corrective lubrication while adhering to safety protocols and best practices.
- Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to address housekeeping needs and fulfill operational requirements.
- Maintain accurate lubrication records by utilizing Ultrasonic Technology and developing a comprehensive database for tracking lubrication points.
- Conduct routine inspections of plant equipment, identifying any issues that could result in mechanical failures, safety hazards, or production delays.
- Assist maintenance and production staff with various tasks, including servicing and repairs as necessary.
- Perform inspections and lubrication on all mobile equipment and powered industrial trucks (PITs).
- Enter work requests for preventative maintenance and conduct Ultrasonic Thickness testing on critical equipment, maintaining data in a PC database.
- Carry out additional responsibilities as required.

Qualifications
Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent is required; a 2-year Industrial Maintenance degree is preferred.

Experience:
- 1-3 years of relevant experience is required.

Knowledge:
- Fundamental understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems, along with various rotating mechanical equipment such as conveyors and power transmission devices.
- Familiarity with MSHA and MLC standards regarding lubrication and compliance.

Skills:
- Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office, and the ability to learn new software systems.
- Preferred skills include basic welding and electrical troubleshooting.

Abilities:
- Capability to operate diverse mobile equipment, including forklifts and front-end loaders.
- Ability to perform tasks at heights with safety measures in place and comprehend manuals and schematics while maintaining lubrication logs.
