Position: Senior IT Risk Management Specialist

Work Arrangement: Hybrid

This role requires a proactive and meticulous professional in risk management to identify and evaluate risks that may affect the organization's projects, transactions, reputation, and compliance standards. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with risk management teams and organizational leaders to devise strategies and practices that minimize risk exposure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the formulation of processes, policies, and operational procedures.
  • Support claims management and procedural development.
  • Identify and assess potential risks and vulnerabilities in contracts, projects, and procurement activities.
  • Collaborate with risk management personnel and executives to develop and implement action plans aimed at mitigating risk factors.
  • Collect and analyze diverse information sources to evaluate vendor risk exposure.
  • Oversee and review organizational policies to ensure comprehensive risk coverage.
  • Conduct risk assessments and modify existing operational practices to reduce risk.
  • Assess procurement activities to determine insurance requirements.
  • Review alternative insurance and indemnification options and provide insights.
  • Act as an auditor to evaluate contracts, scopes of work, and departmental requests.
  • Effectively communicate risk management recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Provide analysis of insurance policy coverage.
  • Perform additional duties as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Comprehensive understanding of risk management policies and industry best practices.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and supervisory capabilities.
  • Professional certifications such as CPCU or CRM are preferred.
  • Excellent analytical, mathematical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for report generation and policy development.
