Job Title: Program Manager/Senior Program Manager

Fusion Pharmaceuticals, a member of the AstraZeneca Group, is a clinical-stage oncology company focused on developing next-generation radioconjugates (RCs) as precision medicines. Our team is seeking a highly motivated Program Manager/Senior Program Manager with strong project management and analytical skills to support our expanding discovery programs and ongoing Phase 1 clinical programs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building and maintaining complex program plans that include scope, timelines, milestones, deliverables, key Go/No-Go decision points, resources, and budgets.
  • Managing multiple cross-functional teams and meetings, including scheduling, agendas, minutes, and actions.
  • Ensuring effective and timely communication to team members and senior leadership regarding program status, key milestones, identified risks, and resource allocation.
  • Preparing summary information on the progress of the program against goals and milestones, timeline updates, etc. for periodic presentations.
  • Assisting with identification of strategic or operational issues impacting plan execution and working with the team to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies.
Requirements:
  • MSc or BSc Degree.
  • Minimum of 5 years experience in pharmaceutical or biotechnology drug development with at least 2 years in a project/program management role.
  • Experience with both discovery and early clinical development phases is preferred.
  • Experience in advancing oncology drug candidate from preclinical through Phase 1 clinical trials.
  • Expertise in project management and supporting cross-functional teams with strong organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in project management software and tools (e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet or similar).
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Extremely well-organized with the ability to manage multiple programs with highly detailed workflows.
  • Self-motivated with expertise in both planning and implementation.
  • Enthusiasm for working in a dynamic environment with a sense of urgency and aggressive timelines.
