Position Type: This is a Full-time/Part-time On-call role with a compensation structure of $10.00 hourly when Not in Service; Commission based on Service hours, along with benefits.

Location: Operate from our esteemed Inn & Spa at Loretto in Santa Fe, NM.

Role Purpose: The Spa Nail Technician, under the guidance of the Spa Director, is responsible for upholding the high standards and exceptional guest experience of the Spa Facilities, specifically in nail care services. This position plays a crucial role in delivering memorable spa experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Compensation: $10.00 hourly when Not in Service; Commission based on Service hours.
  • Deliver precise and high-quality nail treatments.
  • Maintain a polished and professional appearance, including a clean uniform and nametag.
  • Foster a positive, friendly, and professional demeanor with guests and colleagues.
  • Arrive punctually and prepare 20 minutes before scheduled appointments.
  • Assist colleagues by keeping personal and shared spaces tidy.
  • Ensure cleanliness of the environment, including managing laundry and waste.
  • Demonstrate effective retail knowledge and experience in promoting retail products.
  • Adhere to proper opening and closing procedures, handling transactions responsibly.
  • Comply with all safety and health regulations as well as Heritage Hotel Standards.
  • Stay informed about current trends and developments in the nail care industry.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of state licensing and regulations.
  • Exhibit a willingness to learn about new products and techniques.
  • Assist in monitoring inventory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Possession of a current Cosmetologist or Manicure-Pedicure license as mandated by the State of New Mexico.
  • A passion for customer interaction, with excellent customer service skills; sales experience is advantageous.
  • A friendly and approachable demeanor, coupled with strong verbal communication skills and the ability to multitask.
  • Capability to remain on your feet or seated for extended periods.
