Position Summary

The Radiologic Technologist is responsible for operating standard and specialized X-ray equipment to conduct routine and semi-complex radiographic examinations essential for medical diagnosis and treatment.

We are looking for a dedicated professional who values patient care and is eager to contribute to our collaborative team.


Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for radiological procedures and perform X-rays in accordance with established protocols.
  • Develop and process imaging films for Radiologist review.
  • Administer contrast media and medications within the scope of practice and regulatory guidelines.
  • Ensure timely transfer of images and documentation to the PACS system, maintaining image quality and accuracy.
  • Maintain a clean and sterile environment between patient visits and adhere to radiation safety protocols.

Qualifications

Applicants must be graduates of an AMA accredited program in Radiographic Technology and adhere to ARRT guidelines, including obtaining 24 continuing education credits bi-annually.

ARRT registration is required (RT(R) or Registry eligible), with registration to be completed within one year of program completion.

Basic Cardiac Life Support certification must be obtained within 30 days of employment.
