About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and safety-conscious Industrial Service Technician to join our team at HPC-Industrial, a Clean Harbors company. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the successful execution of industrial cleaning and environmental services at various customer locations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Health and Safety: Ensure a safe working environment by following policies, procedures, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate manual and automated hydroblasting equipment, including ultra-high-pressure pumps, vacuum trucks, and cutting equipment.
  • Surface Cleaning: Examine surfaces cleaned to ensure conformance to company and customer expectations.
  • Maintenance and Repair: Conduct routine and required maintenance on equipment, including industrial vacuuming equipment and disposal of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
  • Additional Duties: Perform additional duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: Specific vocational preparation, including classroom safety training, on-the-job training, and essential experience gained on other jobs such as pressure washing, sand blasting, and operating high-pressure pumps.
  • Language Proficiency: Understand English at a level to comprehend safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations.
  • Driver's License: Valid driver's license required when driving company vehicle or using personal vehicle on company business.
  • OSHA Certification: OSHA certification may be required for this job.
  • Additional Requirements: Must be knowledgeable in the operation of emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers, and may be required to provide a Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).
