Position Overview:

We are currently seeking an Insite Hydroblasting Technician to operate at various client sites. This role is crucial in ensuring the effective setup and management of water treatment systems, as well as conducting pipeline hydrostatic testing among other key tasks. The Hydroblasting Technician will represent Clean Harbors, fostering strong relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prioritize Health and Safety by adhering to established policies and procedures.
  • Operate both manual and automated hydroblasting machinery.
  • Utilize specialized equipment, including Ultra High-Pressure pumps.
  • Manage equipment operations, including energizing pumping systems and handling Hydroblasting and Chemical cleaning tools.
  • Inspect cleaned surfaces to ensure they meet company and client standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including industrial vacuum systems and hazardous material disposal.
  • Carry out additional tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Completion of specific vocational training, including safety courses and practical experience.
  • Proficient in English to understand safety protocols and respond to emergency instructions.
  • Valid driver's license and compliance with company driving policies.
  • OSHA certification may be necessary for this position.
  • Knowledge of emergency equipment operation, such as fire extinguishers.
  • Possession of a Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) may be required.

Requirements:
  • High School diploma or equivalent is mandatory.
