- Coordinate Recruitment and Selection: Work with HR to recruit and select qualified nursing staff, ensuring that the department has the necessary personnel to meet patient needs.
- Ensure Compliance: Ensure that nursing staff are complying with hospital policies, procedures, and standards of care.
- Evaluate Staffing Levels: Evaluate staffing levels to ensure that the department has the necessary personnel to meet patient needs.
- Coordinate Performance Improvement: Oversee the Performance Improvement Program, tracking hospital nursing outcomes and implementing improvements as needed.
- Education: Master's degree in Nursing or related field.
- Experience: Two years of post-licensure professional clinical nursing experience in an acute care hospital or acute physical rehabilitation hospital, with one year at a supervisory level.
- Licensure: Current registration as a registered professional nurse in New York State.
- Skills: Excellent leadership, critical thinking, organizational, and communication skills.
