About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Pediatric Dental Assistant to join our team at Smile Adventures Pediatric Dentistry and Orthodontics. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of exceptional patient care and contributing to the success of our growing practice.

Responsibilities
  • Assist dentists and hygienists with patient care, including preparing patients for exams and procedures
  • Take and develop radiographs (x-rays) as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, adhering to infection control protocols
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and staff to ensure a positive and efficient experience
Requirements
  • Current licensure as a Dental Assistant (DA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in the state of California
  • X-ray certification
  • 1 year of experience in a pediatric dental setting (preferred)
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
