Job Summary:

As a Radiology Technologist Clinic with DispatchHealth Management, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients in their homes or at facilities. You will be responsible for performing mobile diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, ultrasounds, EKGs, and other imaging modalities. Your expertise will help ensure that patients receive timely and accurate diagnoses, enabling them to receive the best possible care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mobile diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, ultrasounds, EKGs, and other imaging modalities
• Travel to patient locations, including homes, nursing homes, and facilities, to perform imaging procedures
• Operate portable radiologic equipment, ensuring safe and efficient use
• Process images and review them for diagnostic quality prior to transmission
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment, and assist with troubleshooting and problem-solving as needed
• Ensure that vehicles are well-stocked with necessary supplies
• Operate and behave in full compliance with all applicable local, state, and federal rules and regulations related to portable imaging procedures and standards
• Perform training and orientation of other employees as requested by management
• Assist with order taking, validation of studies, communication with reading radiologists, customer call-backs, and other administrative and customer support functions as directed

Requirements:

• Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds
• Ability to walk up and down stairs easily while carrying equipment
• Ability to work a varied schedule, including evenings, holidays, and weekends
• Proficiency in the use of company computers, systems, programs, and digital x-ray technology
