Job Summary:

DispatchHealth Management is seeking a skilled Radiology Technologist Clinic to join our team. As a Radiology Technologist Clinic, you will perform mobile diagnostic imaging procedures in a variety of settings and locations to support the diagnostic and treatment of disease and injuries. This role requires a strong understanding of radiologic technology and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform mobile diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays and EKGs, in a variety of settings and locations.
• Travel to patient locations, including nursing homes, assisted living facilities, and correctional institutions, to perform imaging procedures.
• Operate portable radiologic equipment and ensure safe operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Process images and review images for diagnostic quality prior to transmission.
• Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment and assist with troubleshooting and problem solving of equipment and systems.
• Ensure that the vehicle is well stocked with necessary supplies and operate and behave in full compliance with all applicable local, state and federal rules and regulations related to portable imaging procedures and standards.
• Perform training and orientation of other employees upon request by management and assist with order taking, validation of studies, communication with reading radiologists, customer call-backs and other administrative and customer support functions as directed.

Requirements:

• Associate's degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field.
• Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (RT) or equivalent.
• 1+ year of experience in radiologic technology, preferably in a mobile imaging setting.
• Ability to move or lift equipment up to 50 pounds and walk up and down stairs easily while carrying equipment.
• Ability to work a varied schedule that may require evenings, holidays, and weekends.
