Aviation Lounge Sous Chef

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at the American Express Flagship Centurion Lounge at JFK International Airport. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional leadership and culinary expertise to ensure the highest quality food and service standards.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in high-volume baking, menu planning, and staff management. They will also have excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team of culinary professionals.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide culinary leadership and expertise to ensure the highest quality food and service standards
- Develop and implement menu plans and recipes to meet the needs of our clients and customers
- Manage and train a team of culinary professionals to ensure excellent service and food quality
- Work closely with internal and external clients to manage the catering process from beginning to end
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in a supervisory culinary role
- Strong background in high-volume baking and menu planning
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early morning and evening shifts
