Traveling Speech-Language Pathologist

Job Summary

Soliant is seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Elkton, MD. As a traveling SLP, you will have the opportunity to work with students in a school-based setting and provide high-quality speech therapy services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate new referrals on their communication abilities and determine student eligibility for speech services
  • Develop Individual Education Plan (IEP) goals, and make recommendations for speech services
  • Re-evaluate students on a periodic basis, and update IEP goals if needed
  • Conduct meetings and complete reports as part of the referral or dismissal process for speech students
  • Document services, service logs, treatment notes, and track student progress with a mix of observations or testing data
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communications Disorders
  • SLP license from the Maryland Board of Speech-Language Pathology
Competencies
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Good organization, time management, and the ability to prioritize in a manner consistent with department guidelines
  • Flexibility and the ability to foster a collegial work environment
